Thai Massage is a unique form of manual body balancing that draws influence from theory and practices of Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as medicinal and spiritual traditions of Southeast Asia, some of which are centuries old.  Using hands, feet, knees, elbows, bodyweight, gravity, mindfulness and metta (unconditional love), the practitioner presses, pulls, twists and stretches the body with the intent to inspire movement, calm and ease.  The receiver often feels refreshed, relaxed and energized.
